This has been the weirdest damn weekend.
Ever have those days that seem to melt into each other?
Hours go by and you don't realize it.
The five of us were all laying on the floor in the playroom
when my brother walked in, and I have no idea how long we were down there.
I'm all out of sorts.
The drivers side passenger door on my van is muffed up. It's automatic, and it thinks it's open even when it's closed. Do you know what an automatic door does when it thinks its open when the car is in drive? It dings. Ding Ding Ding Ding.
Ding ding ding ding.
My brother in law, the diesel mechanic, tried to get it to stop dinging without an owners manual. My van, she is a surly bitch, and she just kept on going. I think she was taunting him.
Ding ding ding ding.
So, instead of us taking turns beating it with a baseball bat, he disabled the radio, where the dinging comes through.
No more dinging = no more radio. Until I get it into the dealer.
The drive home tonight consisted of a few rounds of Wheels on the Bus, an On Top of Old Smokey, and a couple "shake your hands highhhh to the skkkyyyyy, up high, shake your hands lowwww to your toesss, down low...Noah and Ellie love Team UmiZoomi.
Ellie has some funky ass conjunctivitis.
This was Ellie when she first got up this morning. I had just cleaned her eyes with a warm cloth, and we had put her second round of drops in. Her eyes went from zero to nasty in a few hours. My poor little bean.

My cat is cleaning his ass right next to me....yay....
That is some nasty pink eye! Did the other kids get it too? Thanks for mention, I guess motherhood is eating your brain as well! Some days are just harder than others! Hope the rest of the long weekend is happiew!
